# CernaFlow pricing: pay for pages, not for people

> Invite everyone who needs it. Ask as many questions as you like. The only number on the bill is how many pages we read.

A page is one page of a PDF we read. A 204-page bundle uses 204, however many separate documents turn out to be inside it. A duplicate we catch is not charged again.

## Plans

Prices are in US dollars and exclude VAT and sales tax. Paddle, our authorised reseller, adds any tax due in your country at checkout.

## Extra pages

Extra pages are prepaid. You buy pages in advance, in fixed amounts, and an administrator switches them on. Nothing is ever added to the bill you approved, because we never send a bill for extra pages at all.

The rate is published, not discovered on an invoice. On Starter it is $0.20 a page, and it falls at every tier above it.

Two ways to get more pages:

- Move up a plan. A bigger plan includes more pages and charges less for each extra one. The change takes effect immediately, and the charge is the full difference between the two plan prices. The new allowance arrives whole, so it is paid for whole.
- Buy prepaid pages. Buy in advance, in fixed amounts, then switch extra pages on. Work carries on past the plan allowance, and each page is paid for from what you already bought. When it runs out, work pauses again.

## Questions

### What happens if I run out of pages?

Work pauses, and nothing is added to the bill. Extra pages are prepaid: you buy them in advance in fixed amounts, and an administrator switches them on, so the bill cannot move without you. Leave them off and move up a plan instead, whichever is cheaper. You can see it coming, too: the usage page breaks down what has been used by person, document type and where it came from.

### Do prepaid pages expire?

Twelve months after your most recent purchase, and every purchase moves that date, so an active account never loses them. We email you 30 days before. They pay for CernaFlow work only, and have no cash value.

### Do you charge per person?

No. Invite the whole team, the auditor and the part-time bookkeeper. Pages are the only thing metered, which means nobody has to share a login to keep the bill down.

### Are questions really unlimited?

Asking questions of your documents is included and not metered. There is no counter and no allowance to watch. A fair-use limit sits behind it so one account cannot push automated traffic through the product, and ordinary work never comes near it. If yours does, we would rather have a conversation than cut anybody off.

### Do I pay VAT on top?

Every price on this page excludes VAT and sales tax. Paddle, our authorised reseller, is the seller on your invoice, and it adds whatever tax is due in your own country at checkout. Customers in Mauritius pay no VAT. If your business is VAT-registered you can add your VAT number at checkout.

### Can I change plan or stop?

Move up or down whenever you like. Monthly plans run month to month with no commitment. Paying yearly is your choice, and it saves 20%. The trial is 14 days and 100 pages, and it does not ask for a card. Anything else, write to sales@cernaflow.com.
